History

The Wild Rose Villa was built in 1902 as a small family detached house. In the late ‘50s it was purchased by an engineer Władysław Rybikowski who with great passion and perseverance expanded and renovated it to its current state.

Tourists have been visiting the house of Rybikowski family ceaselessly since the ’50s. Between 1960 and 1970 the Wild Rose Villa, then known under as "The Rose House", was the only private holiday resort in Międzygórze. During all these years thousands of tourists, from the most remote parts of the world, have visited our villa and have left many entries to the visitor's book.

We have had the pleasure of accommodating many noticeable visitors, such as: Colonel Michał Rybikowski - a top officer of the Polish intelligence from the World War II; writers - Stanisław Strumph-Wojtkiewicz and Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz; actors - Zbigniew Zamachowski, Wojciech Malajkat, Cezary Pazura, Jacek Wójcicki and Krzystof Jańczak; as well as famous composer - Michał Lorenz.
